MEA Edit by Nearra is a registered business name of Nearra Pty Ltd (ABN 43 696 103 456). Nearra Pty Ltd is responsible for the personal information handled through MEA.
What we collect
MEA collects the account details you provide, including your email address and display name. It also stores the My Wardrobe records, uploads, Wishlist criteria, in-site notifications, styling activity, optional personalisation answers and Play data you choose to save. MEA records limited request and usage information needed to operate access limits and account features.
Why we use it
MEA uses this information to provide your account, keep your private records, enforce feature access, respond to your requests, show in-site Wishlist notifications and provide the styling features you choose to use. An email preference exists for Wishlist matches, but email delivery is not connected.
Storage and service providers
MEA uses Lovable Cloud for account services, database records and private file storage. Access rules restrict member-owned records to the signed-in owner and authorised MEA services. Private files are opened through signed links that expire after five minutes. No internet service can promise absolute security.
Mea, your AI stylist
When you ask Mea for styling, MEA sends the request and relevant information from your My Wardrobe records, Style DNA and optional personalisation through the Lovable AI Gateway. Relevant bag or style photographs may be included. Receipt files are excluded from Mea's styling image inputs. Mea is generated by AI and can be wrong.
AI processing
Lovable states that data belonging to people who use an app built on Lovable is not used to train Lovable's models. The gateway may use underlying model providers, whose processing and retention are governed by their terms. MEA cannot verify deletion within a provider's systems and does not promise immediate deletion of every provider-side copy.
Uploads
MEA checks file contents before saving uploads. Bag photographs accept genuine JPEG, PNG or WEBP files up to 10 MB. Receipts may also be genuine PDF files. Other files, including HEIC and HEIF, are refused. Deleting a photograph or styling board removes its stored file. A copy already downloaded to your device remains on that device.
Optional personalisation
MEA+ personalisation is optional and separate from account creation and membership access. MEA stores the controlled options and country you choose. Country may suggest a Travel currency, which you still confirm. You can view, edit or restart your answers in My Account. These answers do not change factual Discover results or Wishlist matching.
Play
Play is not currently available. Members who used an earlier version may have saved private sessions and choices, which are retained under this policy until cleared or deleted. Mea may form tentative observations from repeated choices. Only confirmed, active observations can influence Mea while Play influence is on. You can confirm, reject or remove observations, switch off Play influence, and clear individual sessions or Play history in My Taste. Play does not change Wishlist matching or factual Discover results.
Payments
Stripe processes your payment details as our payment provider. MEA stores only Stripe reference numbers, your plan, its status and dates. We never see or store your card number.
Sharing and retention
MEA does not sell your personal information or share My Wardrobe with sellers. Information is shared with service providers only where needed to operate MEA and the features you request. Member records remain associated with the account until you remove them through an available control or an account request is completed. Public catalogue, seller and editorial records are not member account records.
Your controls
You can correct profile information and manage personalisation in My Account. You can also record a request for access to your data or account deletion. These requests are fulfilled manually and are not completed when submitted. Individual controls are available for photographs, styling records and Play information. MEA does not currently offer an automated data export or instant account deletion.
