How listings work
What MEA reviews, what the prices mean and what to check with the seller.
Coverage and sources
Discover shows handbag listings from selected Australian consignment boutiques and resellers in MEA's latest manually reviewed snapshot. Each record includes its seller, asking price, source link and review date where available. Coverage is not every listing available in Australia.
Review and freshness
MEA reviews listing details in periodic snapshots. Listings do not update automatically between reviews. A seller may change a price, amend a description or remove a listing after MEA's review, so check the source before making a decision.
Asking prices
Prices shown are seller asking prices in Australian dollars when reviewed. An asking price is not a confirmed sale price, an offer to buy, an appraisal or a guarantee of what a bag will sell for.
Comparisons
MEA groups available fixed-price listings by brand, bag family and size where the data supports that comparison. A summary range is shown only when at least three comparable listings are available. Otherwise MEA shows individual listing information or says that data is not currently available.
Condition and authenticity
MEA does not authenticate bags or independently inspect their condition, provenance or inclusions. Confirm these details, current availability, delivery, returns and the seller's terms directly with the seller.
Using the information
Listing comparisons are general information, not a professional valuation or a prediction. Actual sale outcomes can differ because of authenticity, condition, completeness, timing, seller terms and buyer demand.
